The following rankings are based on horses that made at least ten starts at the grand prix level, in competitions with at least $30,000 prize money (not including Table C speed or "novelty" classes). Exacty 50 horses met that criteria.

Exactly 10 horses logged more than 1 grand prix-level win in 2010.  Of the 50 horses ranked, an additional 12 horses had 1 win each. 28 horses that made the minimun 10 starts at this level, did not have a single win.

Of the 31 horses that made a minimum 6 starts in competitions at the required level, only 12 had at least one indivdual win. Pitareusa had one individual win, as well as being instrumental in a nations cup win. Therefore he was placed ahead of the horses with only an individual win. The leading horse on this list has had as many qualifying wins in the first half of 2010 as he had in all of 2009.
